On June 21, Gov. Andrew Cuomo appointed former MTA chairman Joe Lhota to come back as MTA chairman.

It is going to be a big job to solve the problems at the MTA. And here is a former MTA chairman who knows how to solve problems.

Just look what Joe Lhota did during hurricane Sandy in 2012, getting the city moving in a most trying and difficult time. He did what had to be done.

Gov. Cuomo has made a good decision in appointing Joe Lhota, hopefully the man with a plan.

The city is dealing with massive delays with an aging subway system. We need the answer man and Joe Lhota hopefully can get the job done.

Joe, I feel, can get the job done!

Congrats to Joe Lhota for coming to the aid of our transportation system.

Why don't you take the job instead of complimenting Lhota!

Pedro Valdez Rivera Jr. says:
Bureaucracy, cronyism, dysfunction, mismanagement, underinvestment and waste will rule the day by our own elected offices that could lead to our political football that it is the MTA in the past several decades, which results in higher operating and capital costs that us drivers, taxpayers and straphangers to be footing the bill everyday.
