Police officers from the 108th Precinct are looking for a man who allegedly grabbed a 32-year-old woman’s buttocks and thighs as she was climbing the stairs at the 40th Street 7 line subway station in Sunnyside last week, according to the NYPD.

The suspect approached the victim on the stairway around 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, and groped her before jumping to the tracks and fleeing to parts unknown, police said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man around 25 years old, who is approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 145 pounds, according to the authorities. Police said he was last seen wearing black pants, a white T-shirt, and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
