Forest Hills Stadium — once the home of the US Open and now revived as a top-of-the-line concert venue — opened its concert season last week with a performance by Belle & Sebastian, a Scottish indie band that is making a comeback after being off the road for a few years.
The venue has made a comeback of sorts since its renovations, having played host to Paul Simon, Better Midler and Bob Dylan last year. Roger Daltry and Robert Plant are among the 15 shows set for this summer.
