Roosevelt Island man, 28, has been missing for over a week: NYPD

Police from the 114th Precinct in Astoria were searching for a 28-year-old Roosevelt Island man who was reported missing on Thursday, Jan. 11.

Robert Lawrence was last seen Wednesday, Jan. 3, leaving his Main Street home at 7 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Lawrence is 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds with a thin build, a dark complexion, brown eyes and black hair, police said. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black sandals.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
