Police have released two images of a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred over the weekend during a baby shower in Jamaica.

The victim was identified as Tymel West, 22, of South Jamaica, police said Sunday.

Members of the 103rd Precinct responded to a 911 call of shots fired at 10:50 p.m. Nov. 3 at a location on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard between 107th and 108th Avenues.

Upon arriving at the location, officers learned West had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. By the time officers arrived, authorities said, West had been taken by private means to Jamaica Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

More than 200 people had flocked to the streets after shots were fired, according to a witness on the scene. The NYPD Crime Scene Unit later secured the area to gather evidence for the investigation, which remains ongoing.

On Monday, the 103rd Precinct provided a wanted flier bearing the suspect’s image. He’s considered armed and dangerous and was last seen wearing a black hat, dark jeans, black shoes or sneakers and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information regarding the homicide is asked to call the 103rd Precinct Detective Squad at (718) 657-8220 or 718-969-5005. All calls are kept confidential.

THINK from Queens says:
Leave it to the low-life folks in Jamaica to shoot up a baby shower, a birthday party, a holiday party, etc. Every year you read about someone low-life in Jamaica shooting up a party at someone's house or a bar. What a SH*THOLE area and it has been for decades but keeps getting worse.

Trash from Queens says:
Most of the trash that live in that area have multiple arrests. There is no place to keep the criminals anymore so they have no choice but to release them. Just wait until mayor dumbdumb closes rikers island. What fun that will be. Then you can truly say "my neighbor is a criminal" because you would LITERALLY be living next door to a jail. And a portion of the criminals we have should have been deported but they're not. They are just sitting in jails on taxpayer dollars. Welcome to the mayor dumbdumb era but you get what you voted for.
