After four weeks of tryouts, 49 applications from interested players and 40 players trying out, 32 men were welcomed into the Empire State Legends Roller Hockey Club organization on Saturday, Sept. 29. According to GM and Elite Head Coach Rich Richie and Minor Head Coach Marc Ferro, the team will play scheduled exhibition games in the next few weeks; after the 11th game, the team’s rosters are locked-in. The team currently plays its home games in Lynbrook, Long Island, and is a member of the American Inline Hockey League.
