Boro man hits cop with car, breaks his legs: DA

FLUSHING — A 26-year-old Flushing resident was sentenced to 10 years in prison Nov. 9 for hitting an on-duty police officer with his car and breaking both of the officer’s legs, the Queens district attorney’s office said. Comment.
