City Council meets with boro north police

City Council members met with Police Department officials from Queens Borough North Monday night at LaGuardia Community College to consider initiatives on preventing police abuse and to discuss allocation of funds for training and crime prevention.

Reacting to the recent wave of police shootings, City Councilwoman Annette Robinson (D-Brooklyn) said that the police may have reduced crime, but at a fatal cost.
