2 Bayside civics in turf battle

The East Bayside Homeowners Association voted to oppose the creation of a historic district within it borders at its first meeting in seven months last Thursday night in reaction to the actions of another civic group operating near John Golden Park.

The 15-to-4 vote was a response by the EBHA, which has represented a 100-block radius of Bayside for 25 years, to the John Golden Park Block Association
