Rochdale honors Dr. King

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will always be remembered for what he stood for, the Rev. Al Sharpton told more than 900 people at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Rochdale Sunday evening.

Sharpton, the civil rights advocate and perpetual critic of Mayor Giuliani, was the keynote speaker at the Southeast Queens Clergy for Community Empowerment
