A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with the rape and shooting death of his 14-year-old girlfriend after an argument at his Richmond Hill home last week, authorities said.
The girl, Angie Tobon, was bound and gagged with duct tape, raped at gunpoint, and shot once in the head last Thursday afternoon, authorities said. She was taken to Jamaica Hospital and died two days later.
Jesse Latchman of 95th Avenue in Richmond Hill was arrested a few hours after the shooting, police said. He was later charged with second-degree murder, rape, unlawful imprisonment and criminal possession of a weapon, the district attorney
