Hundreds of train signals never inspected: MTA

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says it has discovered that more than 300 scheduled safety inspections of the subway signal system, including equipment on lines used by hundreds of thousands of Queens commuters, were never done despite records showing the inspections had been carried out.
