MANHATTAN — An Astoria doctor who worked at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Hospital pleaded guilty in Supreme Court there yesterday to three counts of sex abuse and was sent to jail for 90 days, The New York Post reported.

The doctor, Walter Calderone, 34, also faces deportation to his native Peru, the paper reported. The married father of two faced the misdemeanor charges after three of his patients said he fondled them, The Post reported.

Calderone, in the United States on a work visa, was set to take his final licensing tests before he was charged.
