A year into the construction of the massive Gateway Center mall at E. 149th Street and River Avenue, the organization set up to ensure benefits to the surrounding community hosted two town hall meetings earlier this month to update residents on two upcoming beautification efforts.
The Gateway Fast Track Unit, a nonprofit group allied with the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corp., hosted the meetings at Hostos Community College on January 4 and 5 to explain attempts to curb the area
