WANTED: HERBERT WILLIAMS

Police are on the hunt for a suspect wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a 20-year-old female attacked in the stairwell of a residential building near Burke Avenue on Sunday, October 28, at about 8:30 a.m.

After an investigation, the suspect was recently identified as Herbert Williams, a 27-year-old black male, approximately 5-foot-9, 180 pounds, with close cut hair.

Williams allegedly fled the location after the assault and the victim was treated at a local hospital, but police have released a photo of the wanted criminal in hopes someone will step forward and provide information that will lead to his arrest.
