Bronx Community College president Carolyn Williams hosted a Champagne Breakfast for the 30th Annual Hall of Fame 10k Race, which will take place on May 3, at 10 a.m., rain or shine.
The packed house was treated to a breakfast buffet and a number of interesting discussions about the race and the surrounding community runners enjoy on their travels.
The 2008 race, which will be the biggest and best ever, is to benefit the Michael Steverman Foundation, a scholarship fund for students interested in the causes of world hunger and community action. The Steverman Foundation is named for a former faculty member who fought to improve the local community and entire world, and benefits students who share in Steverman
