ASTORIA — A 30-year-old man was arrested more than two weeks ago for allegedly drawing graffiti on a truck, the Queens district attorney said.

Christian Colon, 30, of 44th Street, was charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti and possession of graffiti instruments Aug. 18 in Queens Criminal Court, according to the Queens DA’s office.

Colon was spotted by a police officer spray painting a box truck parked in the back of a location near 37th Avenue and 45th Street around 1:45 a.m. Aug. 18, the criminal complaint said.

When the officer searched Colon’s car, he allegedly recovered one gray spray can and one black spray can with the cap on, according to the criminal complaint.
