Thomas Campagna, who was a member of the Queens Borough Hall staff for about 10 years, died Dec. 18 of lung cancer. He was 63.

Campagna worked under former Borough President Claire Shulman and current Borough President Helen Marshall as their consulting engineer. Since it was hard to recruit someone for the post, Campagna was allowed to hold it while being a resident of Sea Cliff, L.I.

Before his time at Queens Borough Hall, Campagna worked in the Water and Sewer Operations Division of the city Department of Environmental Protection.

A wake was held Dec. 21 at the Whitting Funeral Home in Glen Head, L.I. A funeral Mass was held Dec. 22 at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church in Sea Cliff, L.I.

Campagna is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
