An open letter to Community Education Council 24:
It baffles and concerns me that the Community Education Council 24 resolution on the new high school in Maspeth mentions Glendale and Middle Village, but leaves out Elmhurst and Woodside, many parts of which are one mile or less from this site.
In fact, I believe Elmhurst begins across the street from the proposed high school, since I know the new Tanks Park is in Elmhurst (Community Board 4).
Please modify your resolution accordingly.
