Christian Markowitz, 17, of 101−64 95th St., allegedly pointed the BB gun at the victim and fired a shot in the man’s chin between 2:20 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in front of 89−11 Arion Road in Ozone Park, according to the criminal complaint.
The victim was walking home around that time when he felt something strike him in the back of his neck, the complaint said.
He then allegedly saw Markowitz walk up beside him holding a black BB gun, the complaint said.
The victim suffered a welt mark to his chin and a red mark to the back of his neck, the complaint said.
Markowitz was arraigned last Thursday on charges of assault, menacing, reckless endangerment and harassment before Queens Criminal Court Judge Stephanie Zaro, who released the teen on his own recognizance.
Markowitz’s next court date was scheduled for March 18.
