FOREST HILLS — A Jamaica man was arrested last week after allegedly videotaping a 16-year-old girl under her skirt while riding the E train in Forest Hills May 20, police said.
Jose Gil, 39, allegedly propped a video camera up inside of an open sports bag to record the girl, police said. The girl alerted an officer riding the train to the incident, the NYPD said.
The incident occurred between the 71st Street-Continental Station and the Jamaica and Briarwood stations, police said.
Gil was charged with unlawful surveillance and acting in a manner to injure a child under the age of 17, according to police.
