QUEENS VILLAGE — Police said they shot and arrested a Queens Village man who allegedly pulled a gun on them as they attempted to question him about a shooting from earlier this month.

Police said three plainclothes detectives were on the lookout for 30-year-old Tasheen Walker near his home, at 95-20 222nd St., Friday, when they observed him sitting in his vehicle.

When they approached, Walker allegedly fled, and when police followed, he pulled out a loaded .380-caliber handgun and pointed it at the detectives, according to the police. One of the detectives fired at Walker and struck him in the left torso, according to police.

Walker was taken to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, L.I., and was listed in stable condition, police said.

Walker was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing, according to cops.

He was wanted in the shooting of a 29-year-old man April 8 following an argument at a Cambria Heights restaurant, police said.

Mike from Queens villiage says:
I know tasheen walker since he was a child ,and all I can say is the apple doesn't fall far from the tree ,tasheen has
Always been a bad seed. Every time he gets arrested its never a normal arrest.last year he had a high speed car chase with n.y.p.d narcotics detectives when they observed him make a drug sale for 20$, the detectives attempted to stop his vehicle when he pulled off almost hitting one of the detectives, they started chasing tasheen for two blocks when he attempted to turn down 212 street,
He hit an electric pole igniting his car on fire. I know he said that he wasn't going back to jail after his last arrest but how stupid can someone be shooting at the n.y.p.d . Now he faces at least 15 years and a bullet hole in the torso.
