Cops on the lookout for Rego Park deli stabber

REGO PARK — Police are looking for a man who followed another man into a Rego Park deli and stabbed him multiple times in the buttocks, the NYPD said.

The attack occurred Sunday at about 5:45 p.m., police said. A black man about 30 to 40 years old followed his victim into a deli at 63rd Road and 99th Street before committing his assault, police said.

After his attack, he fled on foot, police said.

The victim has been listed in stable condition, police said.

The suspect is described as about 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 220 pounds, police said. When last seen he was wearing a white T-shirt, gray sweat pants, black sneakers and a black hat, police said.
