JAMAICA — A suspect in various larcenies on the subway was nabbed at the Parsons Boulevard and Archer Avenue station in Jamaica when an MTA employee spotted him during an interview with an NYPD officer, authorities said.

Police said officers were alerted to the thefts when a Metropolitan Transportation Authority agent approached an officer Saturday at 4:51 a.m. and told him a man had removed a black iPhone from a sleeping rider’s hand while the agent was cleaning the stationary E train, police said. During the interview, the agent saw the man on the platform and alerted the officer, police said.

The officer arrested Claudel Dor, 32, of Valley Stream, L.I. Dor was allegedly found with the rider’s iPhone and another man’s student ID and two bank cards, police said.

Dor was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
