CORONA — A woman had her iPhone swiped from her hand on the No. 7 train earlier this month, police said.

The 36-year-old was on the train near 111th Street in Corona when a man grabbed her smart phone and fled the train, according to the NYPD.

The suspect was later captured on a surveillance camera after the incident, according to police, and the NYPD subsequently released those images.

Those with information should contact NYPD’s Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting its website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
