FLUSHING — A man was found dead in his Flushing apartment last week from an apparent self-inflicted knife wound to the chest, police said.
Cops responded to a 911 call at about 12:30 a.m. Feb. 7 and found a 49-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive inside his Roosevelt Avenue apartment, police said.
His wife told police that her husband had been drinking and the two had been arguing before she went to sleep, police sources said. She awoke to a loud noise and called the cops when she discovered her husband, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
