SPRINGFIELD GARDENS – Police arrested a 27-year-old man who allegedly stabbed his brother to death and injured his mother before he plunged the knife into his leg Wednesday evening.
The NYPD said the suspect, Tony Glover, is accused of stabbing his brother and mother in the torso a little after 6:30 p.m. inside a home at 179th Street in Springfield Gardens.
His brother was taken to Jamaica Hospital, were he was pronounced dead. Glover and his mother were also taken to Jamaica Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, police said.
Glover was charged with murder, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, the NYPD said.
