WOODSIDE — Police were searching for a suspect who allegedly burglarized an apartment in a Woodside temple, the NYPD said.

The suspect allegedly stole $500 from an apartment in the Shri Guru Ravi Dass Temple, on Broadway, just after 6:30 p.m., police said. The man allegedly pried open the door to the apartment inside the temple before snatching the money and fleeing, the NYPD said.

Those with information should contact NYPD’s Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting its website or texting 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
